The "Replace Once" feature allows you to correct all instances of a word's spelling in a single document with one action.

What is "Replace Once"?

"Replace Once" enables you to correct all instances of a word throughout the current note or letter. It will only replace it once, where replace forever will replace it forever.

How to use "Replace Once"?

1. Create your note or document, and highlight the word or phrase you would like to replace

2. Right-click to select "Replace Once"

Select Replace Once and enter the preferred spelling. Then click "Replace Once" and Lyrebird will replace all instances of that word in the current note or letter.


Examples

Use "Replace Once" for preference changes.

If Lyrebird says "centimetres", you can replace it with the abbreviation "cm" just for this note or letter.

Use "Replace Once" for changes to note information

If Lyrebird repeatedly referred to a patients chest pain as "Chest Pain", you can replace it with "Chest tightness" just for this note or letter.
