Lyrebird is compatible with major Telehealth platforms.
Phone Telehealth Consults
Lyrebird is able to be used for Phone Telehealth Consults when paired with a microphone.
For success, place your phone on speaker and relatively close to your microphone to ensure that transcript quality is high.
Video Telehealth Consults
Lyrebird is able to be used for Video Telehealth Consults.
We suggest having an external microphone to the computer as this will greatly assist with detecting the patient's voice. This can be a USB Conferencing microphone or webcam.
We suggest using this microphone that we have found great success with (it is also great for in-person consultations): Audio-Technica
Note: Sometimes, when using video conferencing applications, they can take priority access over Lyrebird for the microphone instead of 'sharing' the microphone. You can change these settings easily in your conferencing application settings.
Sign-off your Telehealth Consult
You can add a custom sign-off to each Telehealth consultation that you conduct. A sign-off will be included if you select the Telehealth dropdown option when conducting your consult. The sign-off is there to remind you that the consultation was conducted via Telehealth.
1. Click the "Customise" tab in Lyrebird
2. Scroll down to Telehealth default sign-off
Insert the piece of text that you want included at the end of your Telehealth consult notes.
Example: The patient provided written consent to using Telehealth Platform and to the use of Lyrebird Health.
3. Click "Save Changes" in the top right corner
