Enabling the Lyrebird Integration with Bp Premier

A quick guide on how to configure the integration with Bp Premier

To enable the Bp Premier integration, please follow the below steps:

  1. Open Bp Premier and go to Setup > Configuration

  2. Click on the Database tab, then select Setup third party integrations

  3. Search for Lyrebird Health and tick the checkbox to enable it

Please note: This must be done by the Practice Manager or Admin of your Bp Premier account, and it enables the integration at the practice/clinic level.

After enabling the integration, each clinician should:

  1. Open a patient record in Bp Premier

  2. Click the Lyrebird Health icon in the toolbar

  3. The Lyrebird Health browser will open - they will be prompted to log in or sign up for an account

  4. Once completed, their account will be automatically integrated

Previous versions of Bp Premier

To enable the Bp Premier integration, please follow the below steps:

Part 1 - Enable the integration for the clinic

  1. Open Bp Premier and go to Setup > Configuration

  2. Click on the Database tab, then select Setup third party integrations

  3. Search for Lyrebird Health and tick the checkbox to enable it

Part 2 - Connect each doctor’s account

  1. Open Bp Premier and go to Setup > Users

  2. Select the clinician that you would like to integrate

  3. Select Lyrebird Health in the bottom right corner, then paste the API key that has been provided and click Save

Repeat this process for each clinician. Once they have been integrated, they can open the patient record in Bp Premier, click the Lyrebird Health icon on the toolbar. The Lyrebird Health browser will appear and they will be automatically logged in.

Troubleshooting

Why am I being asked to log in for every patient?

If you’re being asked to log in every time, please double check you have the correct API key listed in your Best Practice Settings. This allows us to automatically link your Lyrebird and Best Practice accounts.

  1. Open your Lyrebird account in an external browser (not within BP)

  2. Navigate to Settings → Integrations

  3. Copy your Bp Account Key

  4. Return to Best Practice, go to Setup → Users

  5. Select the relevant user, click Edit, then choose Lyrebird Health

  6. Paste the Bp Account Key into the designated field

Where do my documents save in Bp Premier?

Notes save in “Today's Notes”.

Care Plans & Health Assessments save in “Correspondence Out”.

Note: You may need to refresh the Patient File to view saved documents in Correspondence Out - press F5 to refresh or go to View —> Refresh in the top banner.

Documents and Letters must be copy/pasted into Bp Premier.
