How to set it up:
Invite your typist to join your organisation in Lyrebird.
Go to Settings → Organisation Preferences and turn on the Type Pool feature.
Once your typist has signed up, head to Settings → Manage.
Click the pencil icon next to their name and select Edit role.
Change their role to Secretary to enable the feature.
Using the Type Pool
Once enabled, when you generate consult notes or letters, you'll see a Share to Type Pool option. When you send work to your Type Pool, Lyrebird automatically pre-fills your patient's NHS number or MRN (Medical Record Number) into the typing work.
This streamlines your typist's workflow, as they have the patient identifier ready without needing to manually search for or enter it, reducing data entry errors and keeping records accurate.
