Invoices and payment management

Find your invoices, update your payment method, and understand what happens if a payment fails.

Everything to do with invoices, receipts, and your payment method lives in the Subscription page under Settings.

Viewing and downloading your invoices

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Go to the Subscription tab.

  3. Click the download button next to an invoice to save it as a PDF.

Receipts are also emailed to you automatically after each successful payment. If you need a copy of a past invoice, for example for a tax return, contact our support team with the payment date or amount and we will send it through.

Updating your payment method

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Go to the Subscription page.

  3. Click into the Payment method section to update your details.

You can pay by debit card or credit card. If you add a payment method during your trial, you will be charged upfront for the month or year you are about to spend on Lyrebird once the trial ends.

If the billing page will not load: Try a different browser (e.g. Chrome instead of Safari), use a desktop or laptop rather than a mobile device, or clear your browser cache and reload. If it still will not load, contact support and we can update your payment details for you.

What happens if a payment fails

If a payment is declined, you will get an email notification with a link to update your billing information. Your subscription stays active for a short grace period while the payment is retried automatically.

If your card has since been topped up or the issue resolved, the automatic retry should go through without you needing to do anything. If the retry does not succeed, or you would like us to trigger a payment manually, contact our support team.

Changing your billing contact or invoice address

Contact our support team if you need to:

  • Change the email address invoices and receipts are sent to

  • Transfer subscription management to another person, such as a practice manager or finance team

  • Have invoices addressed to a practice or company name

Include the new contact name, email address, and practice or company name if applicable.
