Share your notes and document templates

Do you have a note or document template you frequently use? Share your template with your peers, organisation and the Lyrebird community.

How to create an individual share link

When you wish to share your template to another individual account, you can create an individual share link for that specific template. Allowing the user you share the link with to download their own version of the template.

Tip: You can only create a individual share link for templates tagged as custom, if you see 'Lyrebird' or 'Organisation' tagged, you will not be able to share these templates as they are the default Lyrebird template or a template which is managed by an organisation.

1. From the “Customise” page, within the "Note Templates" or “Document templates” tab, open the "three-dot menu", and select "Create private share link"

2. Edit the name of the template and click "share"

3. Your private share link will be created, you can now copy the link and share this link to your colleagues. With this link they will be able to download their own copy of the template.

Adding a private template to your account

When opening a private share link, you will open the template page. From here you can review a sample generation of the template and add to your account via the "Add to account" button.

Managing shared templates

Once you have shared a template, you can review via the "Shared" tab in either Note templates or Document template sections. Here you can review how many times this template has been downloaded or you can delete the share link. This will prevent anyone else from using the download link.
