An "action" covers things like generating a note, a letter, or a document from a consult or dictation. All new accounts start with a 14-day free trial of Lyrebird Pro before dropping to Lite-level usage if you do not add a payment method.

BP Free is available to Australian clinicians integrated with Best Practice. You are moved onto it automatically once you connect your Lyrebird account to Best Practice. It is a more limited version of the platform than Pro, and its limits work differently to Lite. BP Free includes:
Unlimited actions for Notes and Standard Dictate
10 actions per month for AI Edit, Smart Dictate, and Documents combined
20 actions in total for Workflows (including CCMP, Health Assessments, and Personalisation), starting from the day BP Free was activated on your account
Document sharing and access to community-shared templates
⚠️ Tip: The 20 Workflow actions on BP Free are a one-time allowance, not a monthly one. Once they are used, they do not reset. If you rely on Workflows, Documents, AI Edit, or Smart Dictate regularly, Pro removes these limits entirely and is likely to give you better long-term value.
If you decide Pro suits you better, you can move off BP Free yourself at any time. Just go to Settings then Subscription and upgrade to Pro, the same way you would from Lyrebird Lite.
